

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until service time. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 22,2023 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Johnson Funeral Home, directing arrangements.
She is survived by her Son: Chris Jones; Grandchildren: Ashleigh, Candice; Great Grandchildren: Nani, Miracle, Kalela, Chrissy, Jude; Sister: Patricia Taylor (Terry Taylor), Sarah Lott (John Lott); Nieces and Nephews: Jennifer, Thatcher, John, April, Mendie; Great Nieces and Nephews: Maddox, Lochlyn, Thatcher, Kerrigan, Madelyne, Sarah Ann, Tully.
She is preceded in death by her Husband: Jack Watson; Parents: Dewey Hamilton & Marjorie Raycile King.
Regina was accomplished and enjoyed Academia. She earned her B.S. from AUM, and her M.S. from The University of Alabama, where she pursued her doctorate. She had earned her pilots license, loved to fly, and was a member of The Civil Air Patrol.
Regina had a passion for travel. She visited many places around the world including Europe, the Caribbean, and different countries in South America.
Most importantly, Regina loved her church and she loved to help people. This is why she dedicated 25 years of her life working for the Alabama Department of Social Work. She was very dedicated to church members, family, and friends. She would always send out Christmas, Birthday, and get-well cards to everyone.
She was a loving, caring Mother and Friend. She will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
