Bonnie and family, I have such special memories of this wonderful man. Rual was so dear about visiting and sitting with me during my many hospitalizations while at Pine Forest UMC. He helped me through some of the most awful times of my life. I will never forget the calm and peace he helped me find in those times. He was truly, a very special man of God.
I know that you all have found comfort and joy knowing he has gone home. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the great privilege of serving in the same Andalusia District with Rual during my first three years as an ordained minister. During those anxious times that I experienced as a new minister, I found in Rual someone who was always kind, considerate, and encouraging in every way. I wish that I could attend the service at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, but I have been asked to assist in a service at First United Methodist Church of Montgomery at the same time. Be assured that I will be lifting up in prayer all of you in the family as you celebrate the life of this dear, good man!
Blessings on you,
Karl Stegall

Always presented the love of Christ to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed but is in the arms of the Lord. Well done, good and faithful servant. Love and prayers to Ms Bonnie and all the family.

Reverend Morris has always brought fond memories to mind. He was always such a kind, gentle man who shared great biblical wisdom and insight.
When I think of examples of how we should love and treat others in a manner that honors God, he is one I think of.
I pray for comfort and peace for you, Bonnie as you wait to see your lifemate again.

Rual is the most deserving to sit at the throne with God. His faith never faltered. His outreach was far and wide. He and Bonnie comforted my mother in her times of need, and me in mine. What a friend we had in Rual, and what a friend was he to Jesus. His presence on earth will be missed greatly, but I rejoice in the fact that he is at the Throne.
God bless his entire family
