I can't ever remember not knowing and loving Ruby. She was funny and fun, loving, kind and gentle. She always made a person feel special, I think because they were so special to her. She was truly a special lady and I will miss her. My thoughts, prayers and love are with Ruby's girls and family.

Granny, I am so broken...I can’t even begin to imagine my life without you in it. You have always been such a big part of my life, all our lives. You were the most amazing Mama to my Mama and all my Aunts and Uncles. You were an even more amazing Grandmother to all us grandkids! Just when I thought you couldn’t be more amazing, I had Kaiden and he thought you hung the moon! What a bond you both had and will always have! He loved spending the night with you more than anything! As much as we miss you here, I know you are pain free and walking those amazing streets of gold! Love you forever 💖

Rest In Peace Mrs. Ruby! She was known to so many people as “Granny Ruby” and we all loved her so much. I know you all are hurting, but she is no longer suffering. I will continue to pray for each and everyone of you during this difficult time. 💔

I am so sorry for the hurt in your heart. I know that she is in Heaven. She was an amazing, sweet, and precious woman. I remember singing with her in the choir at East Chapman Bapt Church. Her legacy will grow because she left a great big part of herself in each one she met and especially her kids. Go rest high Miss Ruby! Your work on Earth is done. Well done!

Ms Ruby was a one of a kind lady.
They broke the mold when she was born.
Fun and funny. Loved to hear her talk, she had the purtiest Southern twang.
Going to remember her as a firecracker with sparklers!
Lighting up the heavens with her spectacular spirit!
Rise above, Ms Ruby!

I knew Ms. Ruby all my life from the days she and her family lived in Beat 1-Box 1 in a Green House...And she was married to a cousin of mind …..Mr. Junior Stuckey. Junior-her husband would go missing down in Mobile back in the early 60 s
Me- Mama-Daddy went to Bucks-Ms. Nessie s Stuckey s who lived in a small house between Mrs. Vera Page and Mrs. Vita Covans home were we were met by Mr.Mrs. Lester Hanks with all of us just sitting on the front porch waiting for news from Mobile about Junior...
I then met Ms. Ruby again back in the 70 s when I was working at LV Stabler Hospital in X-Ray in Greenville along with her Mama I think? A Ms. Smith and they were always their visiting the sick folks in the hospital and again when Mama was living in Caseywoods Apt. in Georgiana
Ms. Ruby never met a stranger-was never to busy for even small talk with anyone....It was always a pleasure to see and talk with her any time I had the pleasure of meet her....She was a very nice lady who just liked everybody.....Sincerely-Frank Burkett Cebu-Phillippines
