Janice’s smile and laugh greeted everyone as we entered Geil Elementary and she was especially kind to my son, Keaton Bell, who had to spend most of his recesses inside all through grade school due to health reasons. As Keaton got older, Janice would take the time to talk with us and see how he was doing when we would run into each other out in public. She was always so kind. I will never forget that kindness nor her laugh. I pray you and Keaton have once again found each other in Heaven and are reminiscing about the “old days”. Rest In Peace to a beautiful soul. You will be missed. Keaton’s mom ❤️

To the family of Janice Bauer I would like you all to know how very blessed I feel to
have laughed and worked with Janice at Geil Elementary. Walking into the Geil Office with Janice there to greet you was so refreshing. She was a truly kind person. She was also so patient and kind to the children who attended Geil. I do not think I can remember Janice speaking poorly of a child. She was the best!
Love to all,

I’m sorry to hear of Janice's passing. She was a great woman and she taught me how to make a cake taste like it came from a bakery. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers.

Janice was a lifelong friend/classmate to me. Her husband Bob, was "Best Man" at my wedding. Janice was such a compassionate person, and very kind. She tended to my elderly mom quite often, as I lived in Idaho and was unable to be there very much. Our families enjoyed such memorable times together, I will never forget you Janice. Condolences to Jana, Robbie, spouses, grandchildren, and all of her family members. RIP Janice, you will surely be missed. We love you. Say "Hi" to Bob!! Sam Lewis

Janice and Bob were the first people I met from Gering, when Sam and I were dating. We instantly became lifelong friends. She and Bob were our first child, Sherry's "God Parents" at her baptism. Janice was the kindest person I ever met. We had many fun, memorable times, along with our families. I will certainly miss you. RIP Janice, you are now at home with Bob and all of your family that went before you. I love you. Sandy Lewis
