I am Dustin's Adams fiance and I just wanted to say I didn't get the pleasure of knowing grandpa Tower much but I have had almost 7 years of getting to hear the endless beautiful stories of Dustin's childhood. Every one of his memories with grandpa are wonderful and beautiful ❤️ thank you for helping to raise my future husband so well I know you will be missed!

Dad, I was so blessed to have you in my life. You taught me what I needed to know to survive and be honest. You are with Carolyn, Steve, Grandma and Grandpa Tower. You will be missed by so many, I was there with you when you took your last breath, but you will always be in my heart. I Love you Dad.

Grandpa you will truly be missed by myself and my kids. I remember going to his house every Saturday as a kid and playing around the junk yard. I am glad I got to see home before he passed and telling him I loved him and in his very soft breath he told me he loved me too. I always thought of him as a genital giant.

I've been Melvin's daughter-in-law for over 50 year. So I have so many great memories. I love this wonderful man so very much. But I'm so proud that I got to hold his hand, kiss his forehead and help my sister care for him till he took his last breath. Melvin and I got so close in the last 10 years. Last year I had to call the gas company to get his furnace fixed and the lady said she needed dad to give permission, dad told her I could do all his business as I was his favorite daughter-in-law, (funny part) I'm his only daughter-in-law. With that said, I am so Thankful to have learned so many life lessons from Melvin, he help with my children, loved all 8 of my grandchildren and my 3 little ones (his great great grandchildren) and Jaxon always loved going to see his old Grandpa Tower. There was so much love in this 94 year old man and it broke my heart to see the tears in his eyes every time we left to go home.

Rest in Peace Dad.

My Grandpa was such a wonderful man. He never stopped working, even in his 90's. I always loved hearing about his time in the military.
I will never forget when I was little when he had a bowl of salted peanuts on the table. I decided that the salt tasted better than the peanuts so I licked all the salt off the peanuts and put them back in the container. Later, he went to go grab some and all I could hear was my grandpa trying to figure out how the peanuts had gotten wet! He eventually knew who did it and both my grandparents never let me live it down. We broke down in tears laughing every time the story was told.
Oh grandpa, you were so loved and are missed greatly.
