So very sad to hear about Meredy's death. She was a shining light at First Christian Church of Florissant in Missouri. She attended the singles meetings and was such a joy. Always full of delightful stories and sharing that bright smile.
She was truly a Child of God and took every opportunity to share the Lords word.
She will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

Deeply saddened upon reading about a fellow missionary, coworker, teacher, and simply, a wonderful Christian passed away. It was a joy to have worked alongside Meredy at Christian Day School and la Iglesia de Cristo in Caparra, Puerto Rico. Her sharp funny wit (her humor was delightful), big smile, the way children loved her, her dedication, her delicious bierocks, and love for the Lord are memories I am blessed to have. May the God of all comfort grant comfort to her family and friends. Love you, Meredy, dear friend and sister. Que descanses en las manos de nuestro Dios misericordioso y amoroso. Ya estás en victoria! (May you rest in the hands of our merciful and loving God. You are in Victory.)

To the family of Meredith - How she will be missed! She was always faithfully thinking of others. I am so thankful to have been included in her large friendship circle - so privileged to enjoy her ready smile, her stories of "adventure" as she reached into difficult communities with joy and such love for life - always because of her love for the Author of Life. I will look forward to the time when we meet again.
Blessings to you as you mourn the loss of this precious lady - and rejoice with her as she hears, "well done, good and faithful servant." Ron and Ellen Ritchey

I first met Meredy at Nebraska Christian College. When I graduated and started working at a church in Omaha, she began teaching Jr. High English, I think, in Millard (Omaha). A short time later, I went to Puerto Rico to teach in the Christian Day School and soon, along came Meredy. She use to tease me, that she was following me. She wasn’t; but it was interesting how our paths kept crossing! We shared many conversations, jokes, love of music (we sang in many groups together, once on TV in Puerto Rico) and love of serving Christ. Meredy loved life and learning about new things wherever possible. She also loved sharing her new found discoveries which made her a good teacher. She always left a good impression on the people she meant, especially true in PR. I lost track of Meredy after I left PR but thanks to Facebook, found her again some 25 years later. We had a get together in Branson with other friends 2 1/2 years ago and then attended the North American Christian Convention in Kansas City, seeing and visiting so many old friends! I will always remember that trip! I received interesting emails from her every day, political, religious or just interesting facts of science! I miss those so much now! I loved how she loved God’s word and sharing it with others, how lovingly she talked of her brothers, nieces and nephews, and her aunties, and how giving she was to others, especially her 3 little nieces she fostered for so long even as her health was failing. Meredy, you were a dear friend to all who knew you and I am going to miss you tremendously! Now, I will be the one following you and joining you on that great day when the Lord comes through the clouds and takes us home to forever be with Him! Rest In peace, dear one!

I first met Meredy when I took a group called “The Evangels” to Puerto Rico to teach at the Christian School. Later, I was on the staff with her at Lincoln Christian College. She was bright, funny, and talented; but above all else, she loved serving our Lord. My heartfelt thoughts of sympathy and prayer go out to all who knew and loved her. She was a gem!

We have fond memories from the "old days" . We knew Meredy from youth rallies & Neb-Wyo-Dak Bible camp. She was always fun to be around. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.

I met Meredy in 1979 when I went to Puerto Rico to work at Christian Day School. I was fresh out of college and Meredy was the big sister that I needed. She was always there with her advice, wit, and wisdom.
Meredy was a great teacher, wonderful Christian friend , and spread joy everywhere she went. My life is indeed richer for knowing her.

We first met Meredy while teaching at Christian Day School in Puerto Rico. She cared so much for her students and was always creating lessons to keep her students engaged in their learning.

I was both surprised and grateful to serve with her years later at our fellowship in St. Louis. We shared a love for God's Word and for God's church here and around the world.

She was funny, loyal, kind, and gracious. Prayers are sent for all of us who knew her and loved her.
