Funeral services for Robin, will be held Tuesday June 3rd at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10:30 am with Father Michael McDonald officiating. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.geringchapel.com. Gering Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
Robin's light was brought into this world August 15, 1955 by her parents Robert 'Bob' and Sharon (Cross) Larsen. She grew and lived her life in Gering, attending and graduating from their public schools in 1973. Eventually meeting and marrying her husband of 25 years, Jeff Calder in February of 1981, later divorcing.
Robin was a beautiful soul, all who knew her describe her as the most graceful and loving person. Robin was a loyal friend, a strong sister, and the most perfect mother. Robin was exceptionally kind and forgiving, her family will forever be blessed to have known her compassion and generosity. She got to spend the last year of her life doing what she loved most, playing and making crafts with her granddaughter Jaylee. She was happiest when taking care of others.
Surviving family includes: daughters Lacey Calder and Carly Black (Andrew); granddaughters Jaylee Calder and Isabella and Claire Black; sisters Renee Kautz and Jana Costa; special cousin Kristy Ann Wright and numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Etta Graves and her best companion, her dog Maggie.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Justin Calder, infant daughter, brother Brad Larsen, nephew Justin Costa III and many aunts and uncles.
