JR, Angie and family. We grew up in the same era, and were friends with your grand parents, Sonny and Coleen and became extended family when our nephew Rick Smith married your sister Soni.
We have lived in Colorado most of our adult lives and therefore never got to spend time getting to know you and your family but Soni always kept us informed over the years, so we always felt like we were all one big family and we were given updates by your grandparents when we saw them at car snows, stock car races etc.
Having said all of that, we never had the pleasure of meeting or knowing your family or of meeting or knowing Sydnee, yet the news of the tragic accident and of Sydnee’s passing was and is so painful and heartbreaking it is overwhelming. JR, we fully agree that it is not fair and it makes us all question our faith in god and religion.
There is nothing any of us as friends and relatives can say or do to ease your pain and heartbreak, but We do firmly believe that we will be reunited with our loved ones in eternity and need to cherish the memories of your beautiful, beautiful Sydnee and know that all of you will someday be together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Sydnee now and always.

Dearest Brester family,

I am so sorry for the loss of Sydnee. I have been lucky to watch all of the Brester kids grow up and was lucky enough to be a small part of their lives. Miss Sydnee I will always remember as a kind, and passionate student who didn't always trust that she was as talented as we could all see her as. Her passion for music and singing was inspiring and so fun to watch! Keep the memories close to your heart! Prayers of peace and comfort are continuing!
Love,
Tracy

Brester family,

I am Caleb’s mom. Through several years of baseball I developed a respect for your family. My kids also grew up with the Bruners. Know that I am praying fiercely for your family. I pray God will remind me to do so often, even as the years go by.
Papa God, walk this precious family tenderly through their grief and hold them as never before. Thank You that You can handle their whys and all of the emotions. Be their Hope. Be their Help. Be their Healer. Be their Comforter through whispers to their hearts, as well as through family and friends. Thank You that You promise to bear this burden for them and to never leave them. In the Name of Jesus, amen.
