It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one Annie Lambert at the Glace Bay Hospital on September 15. To all family & friends that knew her, she was dearly loved and respected. Annie came from Benacadie; at the age of 14 and lived with her aunt Margaret and uncle Bern. She worked at various jobs but her passion was in the nursing profession for 28 years where she was loved and respected by all at both Glace Bay Hospitals. You could not come in her house without having a cup of tea and all that went with it. She loved playing bingo with her friends Marg MacDougall and Mary Clarke. Her health ailed since the passing of her husband Bruce who she was predeceased by in May 2011. She was also predeceased by her father & mother James & Mary Catherine and by her great grandson infant Bruce. Left to grieve are her daughter Carmen son Paul (Patricia). Grandchildren Tyler (Carol) ,Stephanie & Elizabeth. Great Grandchildren Vincent ,Landon, Bailey & Taylen . Brothers Angus (Florence ),Mitch ,sisters in law Edith Penny; Glace Bay, Joyce (Ray)Verbisk,Ontario.

Visitation For the late Annie Lambert will be held on Friday September 20,2013 in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union Street Glace Bay from 2-4 &7-9 .

Funeral services will be on Saturday September 21, in Knox United Church Glace Bay at 10am with Rev John Finlayson officiating burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
