It’s with heavy hearts and great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Brian Wayne Snow on Monday September 2,2019, with his loving family by his side. Brian fought a long hard, courageous battle with cancer. Brian was the son of Phyllis Snow (who he shared an unwavering bond) and the late Albert Snow. Brian worked for over 30 years as an Electrical Linesman at Sydney Steel, where he formed many life-long friendships. Brian was a proud member of Branch #005 Donkin Legion for over 38 years and a former member of Friday Night Mixed Dart League. A die-hard Montreal Canadians and New York Yankees fan, Brian loved going to Toronto when the Yankees were in town or going to Montreal to watch the Habs play. Brian was very well liked and very well respected by everyone he knew. He had a great sense of humour and a smile for everyone, and would help anyone out at the drop of a hat. Brian is survived by his wife and best friend of 44years Linda (Kelloway) Snow, his only son Brian Jr. (Danielle)(who shared an unbreakable bond with), his only daughter Alison (Jeff) MacDonald who was absolutely “A Daddy’s Girl.”; his grandchildren Lauren, Adam and Cohen; his brother-in-law Errol Jewells; sister-in-law Jane Hillis; nieces Phyllis Jewells (Michael), Kayla Kelloway; nephew Kyle Kelloway and many cousins here and over in England. Besides his father, Brian was predeceased by his sister Linda Jewells, his father-in-law Ruck Kelloway and brother-in-law Johnnie Kelloway. Visitation will take place on Thursday September 5,2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay. Funeral service will be held Friday September 6 at 2pm in St. Luke’s United Church Donkin with Rev. Bob Bigger officiating. Reception to follow at Donkin Legion. Online condolences can be sent to family www.pattenfuneral.com Family flowers only, donations can be made to C.B Cancer Society or charity of choice. You may be gone from the Life, but we will Love You Forever!

It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Anno.
I worked with Anno and Billy at Sydney Steel during the days of the final shutdown and cleanup.
He was a hard worker and great guy to simply be around.
My heart goes out to you during this difficult time and I'll be thinking of you during this time of loss.
