James was a well known educator and administrator, teaching in various schools, including Morrison High School, Cusack Elementary and as Principal of John Bernard Croak (V.C) in Glace Bay.
James was very much a car enthusiast. You might have seen him driving a Corvette or maybe a BMW around town. Photos of his cars, over 30 through the year, are displayed in his garage. He and Paula enjoyed travelling, whether it was South in the winter, cruising the Mediterranean, especially Italy and Britain.
He had a love for animals including his beloved dog Rupert. Also a firm fan of the Maple Leafs as could be demonstrated in his man cave furnishings. James lived a full and productive life. He will be missed.
Arrangements are entrusted to Patten Funeral Home in Glace Bay. Visitation will begin Sunday March 15th at 12 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 pm.
