She was pre-deceased by her parents Mae (Budden) and Robert Clarke.
Before returning home to Cape Breton, Dorothy worked for many years in Newfoundland and Sydney with the federal government and was an active member of St. Luke’s United Church in Donkin. She also very much enjoyed her Wednesday morning bowling group of girls.

A special thank you to the staff of the Hematology Clinic at the Regional for their care and compassion. In Dorothy’s own words which she said so often - “Thanks a million!”
