Gordon Angus MacDonald

It is with great sadness that we regret to announce the passing of Gordon Angus MacDonald on Tuesday October 8,2013.

Gordon was born and raised in Sydney ,NS. He was employed with Clover Group for 31 years until his retirement. Gordon loved hockey and music. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan. He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Mary Anne (Barrett) MacDonald. His loving daughter Jennifer Lee MacDonald -Cotton. Son in law Nicholas Cotton. His mom Mildred (Fifield) MacDonald; Sydney, sisters Donna (John David) McLaughlin (Pier), Brenda (Billy) Cox; Sydney, brother Kenneth (Karen) MacDonald ; Dartmouth and several nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his father Donald Neil MacDonald.

Cremation has taken place

Visitation will take place from 1pm until the time of the service which will be at 2pm on Saturday October 12,2013 at Patten Funeral Home Chapel 71 Union Street Glace Bay. With Rev . Donald MacDonald officiating Donation can be made to Heart & Stroke
