Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Belle MacLeod Ferguson of Glace Bay. Isabel was a member of Knox United Church.
She survived by a sister, Rachel Ferguson, Glace Bay; niece, Tara (Michael) Downs, Alberta; nephew, Tim OBear, Nanaimo; grand nephews, Jayce, Nathan, Alberta
Predeceased by sister, Florence OBear.
Visitation for the late Isabel Ferguson will be held Wednesday, May 23 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., both at Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay, with Rev. John Finlayson officiating. Burial to take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Reception to follow in Patten Funeral Home.
