On March 10,2021 before Ma’s special angels came to take her home, She had the biggest smile on her face with a twinkle in her blue eyes. When she closed her eyes for the last time and took her last breath we knew that she was finally pain free. Our mom,grandmother,great grandmother was the most loving,amazing woman in the world. Her family meant everything to her. She loved car rides, playing cards,bingo, dancing,getting her picture taken. Loved her eggs,Lobster and chicken .She was loved dearly by her children Arthur (Ralphina),Mickey (Doreen),Ann (Blair), Hubert, Lennie (Bernadette),Mary (Bernie), Tommy, Freddy (Susan),Joseph.(Amanda),sibling Mary Lou (Danny ),Anna (Cyril) ,Mike ,Ed (Lynn)
25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren ,8 great great grandchildren
She was predeceased by her husband Freeman, son Freeman Jr,daughter Mary Lou, daughter in law Linda and grandchildren Tyler,John,Blair Jr. ,Margaret,sister Martha, brothers Peter ,Harry .her parents Annie and Fergie
I would like to give a special thank you to my loving wife ralphina, our sister Ann, great family friend Eileen, for the excellent care you gave to ma also to Dr Cadegan, Brenda,Doris Butts, 911 Paramedics, the staff of general hospital, New Waterford Home Care, for bringing sunshine to her every day ,Gerald for taking care of her yard ,and Jackie for her spa day,To Anyone we may have missed we thank you from the bottom of our heart. Her wishes were No flowers.
Visitation will take place on Sunday March 14,2021 from 7-9pm, Monday March 15 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay.
