It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of beloved husband, father, brother, and proud Scotsman Stewart Hector Morrison, who passed away at his home, surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 58 years of age.
Born in Glace Bay to the late Daniel and Alison (Brown) Morrison. Stewart attended Saint Mary’s University for 2 years before obtaining his degree in Horticulture from The Agricultural College in Truro, Nova Scotia. He then embarked on a 40-year career with Highland Landscape for Life. He had a strong work ethic with a sense of civic responsibility. Over the years he was active in the Kinsman organization as well as being an active member of Warden United Church. What brought him the greatest joy in his life were his children.
