It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Thomas Whiting at Victoria Haven Nursing Home on September 21,2018.
Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Hoyles and Philly Whiting.
In tommy’s younger years his joy in life was spending time at the Miners Form.
Surviving is his brother Daniel “Dut” (Mary) and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister Dorothy and special Aunt Helen Ford who was like a second mother to him.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home Glace Bay. There will be a grave side service in Greenwood cemetery at a late date.
We the family would like to say a very special Thank you to the staff at Victoria Haven Nursing Home for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Tommy of the years.
