He was employed at Devco for 47 years, he was a member of Epworth United Church, MacDougall Loyal Orange
lodge , Golden Rule , Royal Black Percectory, branch 3 Royal Canadian legion, Dominion penisioners club,
William servered oversea in the Royal Canadian Navy in the second world war.
William spent many hours woodworking in his barn, loved spending time on the Mira and in his younger years
he enjoyed playing baseball.
Surviving are son Jim (Nellie) Truro step sisters Jerusha (George) Califorina, Barbara (Carl) British Columbia, Sharon (Emile) Kingston
Nova Scotia, Step Brothers Clyde (Bonnie) Sackville, Frank Glace Bay, Baxter Ont, Howard Ont, Grandchildren
Jimmy (Barb), Sheldon (Debbie), Janet (J.B.), great granchildren Christine , Kelsie, Emily, MacKenzie who were his pide and joy also survived by long
time friend Elsie Ellsworth and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren in Ontario.
Predeceased by parents, loving wife Janet , Step mother Maude Wareham, Daughters Ralphina , Winnifred,
also grandson William,brothers Elijah, Earnest, Sam,Charles,sisters Dorothy, Sarah , Margaret, Clara, Claudine.
visitation for the late William Wareham will be held on Friday from 2-4 , 7-9 in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union
Street Glace Bay . Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2pm in Patten Funeral home with Rev Michael
Goodfellow Officiating with interment in Greenwood cemetery
