Alex Lee Graves, 19, of Gladstone, MO passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Alex was born on August 31, 1997 in Kansas City, MO to Danielle and Tracy Graves. Alex loved to play basketball and was an avid fan of the NBA. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing video games, and being with family. He was best known by his friends as “Blondie”. Alex was preceded in death by his uncle, Travis Graves. Survivors include his mother, Danielle (Dale Eads) Graves; his father, Tracy (Amanda Dillon) Graves; his step-brother, Alex Eads; his maternal grandparents, Sid and Glenda Simpson and Richard Johnson; his paternal grandparents, Tom and Theresa Graves; his aunt, Timmarie Mahaffey and their family; his uncles, Kevin (Julie) and Kent (Erin) Simpson and their families; his puppy, Jackson; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Service will be 2 PM, Monday, January 30, 2017 at White Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial to follow in White Chapel Cemetery.
