David, Cindy, Bonnie, Wes and your 3 girls, I am so sorry for your loss.  Alex was a very nice, polite, well mannered young man.  We enjoyed camping with him and the rest of the family thru the yrs.  He will truly be missed.  Heaven has gained a new angel.  He will forever be your guardian angel watching over you.  May your family find peace and solace during this difficult time.

Alex and I spent many, many hours together when he was a sixth grade Hero.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick to "get" jokes that not everyone understood. We had lunch together often, and I was privileged to have Alex in my room first thing every morning that year. What a joy to start the day with him. He told me about his sisters, and he was thrilled to hide Christmas gifts under the tree for them that December. Alex was a gentle, loving young man. I caught him unaware one day, dancing and twirling in my room after everyone else had gone to lunch. I will forever remember the look of joy on his face. He is dancing today in Heaven, and he will live in my heart forever.

On behalf of our Staley High School Falcon Family, we are so sorry for your loss of your son, Alex. We are here for you. Today, we will share a brief message over the intercom. Alex was a unique and unrepeatable human being. He touched our lives in ways both big and small. In memory of Alex, we will offer a moment of silence this morning at Staley. At the end of school today, as our students' head to their bus, car, or begin outside activities, we will ring the Carillion bells in memory of Alex as he lives on in our hearts and in our minds.
