Arlin Craig Martin

Arlin C. Martin (b. August 24, 1956) of Pleasant Valley, Missouri passed away on January 17, 2022 from complications after having a stroke. Arlin retired in 2007 from Yellow Freight after 30 years of service and in 2019 he enjoyed a second retirement from Liberty Public Works after 10 years of service. Arlin was well known in the Pleasant Valley as well as from Indep. to state line and Kearney to NKC for his mowing business, an activity he purely loved and enjoyed doing. He found so much happiness in talking with his customers, helping with odd jobs after the mow, weed eating, and scouting out the job prior to mowing. His family says, "he just couldn't sit still he had to keep moving!" Craig leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Robin; two sons, Joseph and Adam Martin; his father, Arlin Bryant Martin; his mother, Willadean Jurek; and two sisters, Janis and Karen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
