I remember Sister Artis since I was a kid. What a lovely  vibrant person! I loved the banter between Wayne and her. And she was a might fine cook!!! I don't ever remember seeing her without her beautiful smile. Rest well in the arms of Jesus, sweet Sister. PS tell my mom & dad Hi.


I was honored to be welcomed into the Joyful Sounds women’s chorus while in high school.  Artis & I sang bass. She would  squeeze my hand in the low notes we did together. She never met a stranger and loved praising the Lord. My heart & prayers are going to her many loved ones.
