Bonne married Robert, her high school sweetheart on December 17th, 1952. After moving to Kansas City and being a long time homemaker, Bonnie began working at Farmland Industries. As time passed, Bonnie worked a six year job at Presbyterian Camp as office manager. The couple had seven children who remember Bonnie as a gentle, loving, and devoted mother and wife. She always encouraged her children to pursue their goals.
She was a compassionate individual who loved the Lord above all else. For many years, she attended and taught Sunday school at Pleasant Valley Church until car travel became difficult. Bonnie joined the Fairview Christian Church in the last few years of her life.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her daughter, Ella Corain Meroney and son Scott Meroney.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Robert Bailey Meroney Jr, children Robert (Robin) Meroney, Sam (Karen) Meroney, Charles, John (Melissa), Sean (Bridget) Meroney.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Hospice House of Kansas City, Missouri for their care and compassion.
