She was married to Ross D. Baggs on April 5, 1952 in Kirksville, MO.
She is survived by her son, David Baggs; her daughters, Margaret (Bill) Frost, Becky (Bruce) Mend, and Pam (Robby) Dunkin. She has 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross; her son, Roy Dale; her mother, father, 2 sisters, and four brothers.
She belonged to VFW Ladies Auxiliary 9997 then 6603 for 50 years, and the Military Order of the Cooties.
Visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119, on October 2, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM, with VFW Ladies Auxiliary Mortuary Team at 9:45 AM. The funeral service will follow at 10 AM.
A Committal Service will be held at Maple Hills Cemetery, 2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501, on October 2, 2026, at 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to 6603 Auxiliary Post at 1104 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015 or an organization of your choice. If you do send flowers, please no yellow flowers.
Serving as pallbearers are Eugene Harmon, Robby Dunkin, Jason Pyle, Jordan Pyle, Bruce Mend, and Kurt Jackson.
