Bertha Beining Payne

She will be buried beside her husband George Thomas Payne, at Higginsville City Cemetery.

Bertha was born November 22, 1933 near Wellington, MO to William August and Dora Westerman Beining. She married George on December 2, 1954. To this union three sons were born. Bertha grew up in Wellington, MO. She graduated from General Hospital School of Nursing and College of St. Francis, Joliet, Il. Bertha spent her 25 year nursing career at General Hospital/Truman Medical Center. She was a member of Antioch Community Church since 1957, serving in a variety of duties.

Bertha is survived by her threes and their wives, Gregory and Jaci of Denver, CO, Charles of Kansas City, and David and Rona of Kansas City, and 13 grandchildren.
