Betty Mae David, 89, of Independence, MO died peacefully at her home on January 16, 2017. Born May 1, 1927 in Syracuse, KS. She retired from Employers Reinsurance Corp. as a graphic designer. In 1966, she was elected “Women of the Year” by the American Business Women Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey V. David. She is survived by her three children, Connie (Marty) Kerr, Kathy (Ron) Ely and Gary (Linda) David; 9 grandsons and 9 great grandchildren. Deep appreciation goes to her loving caregiver over these last 3 years Janie Land. Service 2:00pm Tue Jan 24, 2017 White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd Gladstone, MO 64119.
