Betty Jo (Davis) Holman, 88, of Gladstone, Missouri passed away on April 22, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1931 in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Hazel (Hill) Davis. Betty married her husband Lloyd in 1952 and they spent just over 65 years together until his passing in 2017. She was a charter member of Northgate Baptist Church, now Briarcliff Church, and was still an active member. Betty worked for the government in the General Accounting office until her retirement in 1993. Betty and Lloyd loved to travel and visited almost every state in the United States. She also enjoyed crafts especially painting on gourds and crocheting hand towels. Betty entered many of her works in craft shows in the area.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sisters Deloris Morton, and Wilma Mosby; and her brother Wayne Davis.
Betty is survived by her daughter Brenda Burton (Steve) of Gladstone, Missouri; Dennis Holman (Sharon) of New Braunfels, Texas; and Kenneth Holman of Riverside, Missouri. She is also survived by four very special grandchildren, four wonderful great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation and memorial service will be planned at White Chapel Funeral Home once gatherings are allowed.
Family suggests memorial contributions to Briarcliff Church.
