September 8th, 1925 in Cameron, to Oscar and Bonnie Mattox.
She learned at an early age to use the talents God gave her and to help others whenever she could. Singing and dancing on stage, Billie and her sister entertained at Cameron area venues during the depression. Later on she volunteered with the USO.
Billie was married to Chester O. Weathers Jr. on March 5th, 1950 in Denver, Colorado. They were together until his death in 1994 and had no children but were a loving aunt and uncle to her siblings' children.
They lived and worked in Denver and California before settling in Parkville, Missouri. Having full time jobs, she and Chet also owned a restaurant, rental properties as well as other small businesses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Doris L. Weakley, and brother, Bobby W. Mattox. She is survived by five nephews, one niece, many great nephews, and great
nieces, family, and friends.
Our Aunt Jean loved all of her family and will be missed by us all.
The family will be holding a graveside service on Saturday, July 30th ,
2022, at 9:30 AM at White Chapel Cemetery
