Bob was born on September 1, 1968 in North Kansas City, Missouri to Clint and Gerre Smith. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 1987, and married his soulmate Tara in 1990. The couple welcomed their first son, Nolan, in 1993 and their second son, Nathan, in 1999. Bob has been a hard worker his whole life from pouring foundation walls at Maples Construction at 16 years old, entrepreneur for his own concrete construction company shortly after his marriage began (which he ran for 20+ years), and foreman with Mark One during his final days on this Earth. He coached football with NLC, wrestling with NLD, and baseball for his sons’ teams over the years. Bob was passionate about his faith and honored God with every opportunity.
He is preceded in death by his father Clint Smith.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Tara Smith; sons Nolan (Jessica Rice) and Nathan Smith; his mom Gerre (John) Smith-Tweedy; brothers Allen (Tamara) Smith and Dean (Debbie) Smith; sister in laws, Jodi Brady, Tracy James and Barb (Scott) Bingham; multiple cousins, nieces and nephews; and granddog Bubba.
