Brenda was born on July 12, 1943, in Judsonia, White County., Arkansas to Lettie Bonnielea (Hensley) McGregor. Brenda would graduate from North Kansas City High School with the Class of 1961. On March 9, 1962, she married Curtis L. Helm, Sr. and their family consisted of two children. Brenda was a Pre-K Classroom Assistant at the Salvation Army.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. Helm, Sr.; her son, Curtis L. Helm, Jr.; sister, Debbie J. Rogers; nephews, Eric S. Rogers and Clinton L. Wright.
Survivors include her daughter, Rogenia D. (Joseph R.) Rhea; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Madison; three great grandchildren, Wyatt, Bailey, and Freya; sister, Rhonda K. (Larry) Wright; sister-in-law, Carroll D. (Julian) Carlton; nephews, Travis and Michael Wright & Rob and Rod Carlton; and many great nephews and nieces.
