Carolyn Fern Hogan, 81, of Smithville, MO died August 6, 2018. Services will be at 2:00pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00pm.

Carolyn was a 50 plus member of the Eastern Star and an avid collector of many things.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, John M. and Fern S. Summers, and husband of 43 years, Sam E. Hogan. Survivors include her children, Matthew (Janice) Hogan and Celise Eklund; grandchildren, Jami, Shawn, Danielle, Hailee, Joshua, Austyn and Tara; great-grandchildren, Lexie and Cheyenne; sister, Sherry (Greg) Baer; niece, Kendra (Mike) Doumitt; nephew, Patrick (Kelly) Gibb, and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
