Charles Alvin Arnold, 90 passed away January 11, 2017. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home with service at 2 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Illa Mae, and two sons-in-law, Thomas Nelson and Garry Rokey. He is survived by his daughters, Martha Rokey and Terra Nelson; grandchildren, Eric Nelson (Christel), Andrea Kellgren (David), Megan Rokey, Emily Barnett (Daniel), Nicole Erickson (Justin), Erin Nelson (Stuart Brown) and Jessica Baxter (Travis Reuter), as well as 13 great grandchildren. Charles was a United States Veteran serving in the US Navy in WWII and Korea. He also retired from John Deere and North Kansas City Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VA.
