Charles F. Phipps, 74, of Excelsior Springs, MO passed away October 26, 2014. Charles was born August 30, 1940 in Kansas City, MO, to the late Franklin A. and Pauline (Gosney) Phipps. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet. Charles was an avid fisherman, and loved watching sports. Survivors include his children, Charles A. Phipps, Kristine (Michael) Pokaluk and Janna Rhodus, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Cathy Smith, and Judy Spriggs. Services will be at 10:00am, Thursday, October 30, 2014 at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
