Cheryl Kay Morgan

A celebration of life service will take place at her son’s home in Weston, Missouri, on September 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Cheryl was born on February 2, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from North Kansas City High School and attended community college. Throughout her life, she worked in business administration in a variety of industries, including trucking. Cheryl had a special love for animals, and that led her to her beloved Doberman Pinscher, Warlock. More than just a cherished companion, Warlock was her soulmate and her partner in search and rescue. Cheryl trained him to search on both land and water, and together they deployed many times over the years to help families locate their lost and missing loved ones. Their bond was truly special, and the work they did together brought hope and comfort to many families during some of their most difficult moments. Above all, Cheryl treasured her family and friends. She loved spending time with the people who meant the most to her and cherished the memories they made together. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her tremendous joy, and she took great pride in watching her family grow.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Paul Whittle; her mother, Evelyn Whittle; and her sister, Robin Whittle.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Karen and Monte Canfield, Paul and Tosha Clark, and Kelly and Jennifer Clark. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren—Blaine, Heather, Marshal, Skyler, Taryn, Jordan, Jake, and Joshua—and nine great-grandchildren: Rylee, Rayden, KJ, Remy, Teagan, Oliver, Maverick, Atlas, Jackson, and one great-great-grandchild Jude.

Cheryl will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering integrity, generous heart, and deep love for her family, friends, and animals.

She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and the love she shared with so many people. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
