

Claire was born on April 24, 1956, in Passaic, New Jersey. She grew up in Newtown, Connecticut and moved to Liberty, Missouri after getting married.
Claire was a devoted mother and loved her children dearly. Prior to onset of a long-term illness, Claire could be found helping in her children’s classrooms, outside playing with her children, crocheting, or helping in church ministries. Claire had an infectious smile and laugh that would light up a room.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Lawson; mother, Claire Boehm; and son, Peter Andersen.
Claire is survived by her daughters, Nicole (Matthew) Burmester of Oak Harbor, Washington, Pamela (Alex) Balash of Plano, Texas, Tracy Guillott (Oscar Acevedo) of Lewisville, Texas, Patricia (Josh) Patterson of Reading, England, and Emily (Sckylar) Tanner of Republic, Washington; along with her 9 grandchildren; Lillian Balash, Alan Burmester, Claire Guillott, Charity and Victoria Burmester, Evelyn Patterson, Elizabeth and Sckyleigh Tanner, Crawford Patterson and Atlas Balash.
Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 AM Tuesday May 23, 2023, at White Chapel Funeral Home with Catholic Rites and a Celebration of Life following at 11:30 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Claire’s life.
Flowers are encouraged to be sent to White Chapel Funeral Home for services and then will be used to decorate Claire’s gravesite.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehab for their dedicated care over the last 8 years.
