As a child Cliff with his parents traveled much of the US and as an adult, Clifford settled in Kansas City and raised his family. Cliff served proudly with 101st Airborne as an engineer with the US Army during Vietnam. On July 28, 1968, Clifford married Sharon Mockerman and together they have enjoyed 50 years of marriage. Cliff enjoyed many things in life, Michigan sports, hunting, fishing, traveling around the Southwest, and was very proud of his children and grandsons and their accomplishments.
The Family of Cliff want to thank the Nurses and Staff of the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron and Comfort Care Hospice for their care and support.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ronald Lee Pierce; his sister, Sharon Lynn Jensen; and his daughter, Jamie Jo Pierce.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; his daughter, Whendi McNab; his son, Anthony (Kristen) Pierce; grandsons, Corey McNab, Caleb (Paige) McNab, Thorin (Mariah) Pierce, Nicholas Meo; 3 sisters, Cindy (Cliff) Spaulding, Sandra Pierce, Annette (Jim) Grigonis; 4 brothers, Donald (Marilyn) Smith, Charles (Shirley) Pierce, Michael Pierce, and John Pierce; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cameron Veterans Home (Assistance League) in Cliff’s name (1111 Euclid Ave Cameron, MO 64429)
