If you where fortunate to know Connie, you would understand that life is to be lived. She was filled with a sense of adventure and never hesitated to ask friends to join her. A invitation to one of her dinners or parties was not to be turned down. You would be filled with delicious food and lively conversations. I miss my friend, but am so thankful for all the wonderful memories she gave to me.

Connie moved to the country out by Fontana Ks. and came by to introduce herself.  We had a farm over the hill from her just outside of Osawatomie Kansas. She had a big red bow in her hand,it was in the late fall,she wanted to hang that big red bow from one of our cows necks.(now these weren't pets but over 1000 lb rank cows) she wanted to get in the corral hang that bow from their neck for her Christmas Card.. My husband thought oh my gosh this girl may get killed in there trying to hang a big red bow and me snapping a picture besides   Connie insisted, the picture was taken.The big red bow and Connie in the corral with the big black cows...It would not be Christmas for me without that picture of Connie and the Red Bow  in the Corral ...Priceless  That was Connie.... I worked w/Connie thru my region ANE.  the pleasure was mine and to all family members my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Connie is now at peace
