

Cynthia (Realph) Larson of Gladstone MO passed away at her home on July 24, 2026 at the age of 71. She was the daughter of Norman and Margie Realph and was born June 7th 1955 in Tacoma, Washington. She graduated from Winnetonka High School in 1973 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1977.
Cynthia's career included serving as a Deputy Juvenile Officer for the Jackson County MO Juvenile Court and then becoming the Coordinator of the Presentencing Investigation Unit for the Wyandotte County KS Courts. She made lifelong friends at each job including Vera, Pam, and Jalynda.
She was a gifted pianist, accompanying her high school choir and composing music for her own enjoyment throughout her life. She also had a beautiful singing voice.
Her greatest love was her son, Matthew, who survives her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Margie Realph and sisters Nancy Myers and infant Sara Beth Realph. She is survived by her son Matthew, his wife Sarah and children, her sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Charles Baudoin, as well as a niece and nephew and six great nieces and nephews and large extended family. Per Cynthia's request, she was cremated and no formal service is planned.
