Some of my greatest memories are spending time with my Grandpa when they lived at the pool house(as we always referred to it). I remember we had to wear our life jackets until he was sure we could swim and we were never allowed to cross the rope if he wasn't there, because Grandma couldn't swim. Once we were older and he was sure then we could. Every morning we had our cleaning the pool chores so we could swim, but we always got to do it in our swimming suits. It sure made cleaning more fun. When were young they always took us to the Plaza to see the lights, the circus and Masonic Lodge Christmas Parties. I sure miss those times with him. I know Grandpa is happy being with My Momma and his brothers and sisters again especially his twin Uncle Don.
Fly high soaring with the Angels Grandpa until we meet again. I love you

Sad Day, The Dodson Dynasty and all that knew him has suffered a great loss today. My Uncle Daniel E. Dodson (My Fathers identical twin brother) passed away this morning. He was the last of the Dodson’s. He will truly be missed especially by me. When I would visit him in someways I felt as if I was spending time with my father because up until last year when my father passed they remained identical as twins often do.
When I talked to my Uncle he would tell me how much he missed my Father. They spoke almost every day on the phone. I’m sure Danny and Donnie are rejoicing as I post this message.
God Speed Uncle Dan.
