Daniel Lawrence Mears

Daniel was the beloved husband of Jolene Mears for 44 years. He was a devoted father to Mandy Mears, Sean Mears, and Amber Mears, and a proud grandfather to Daniel Borkowski, Carter Mahoney, and Magnus Mears. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A gifted salesman and dedicated professional, Daniel brought energy and commitment to everything he did. He had a lifelong passion for thrills and adventure, finding joy in aviation, roller coasters, and fast cars. Warm, personable, and outgoing, he never met a stranger and touched countless lives with his genuine spirit and enthusiasm.

Dan was a true fighter and survivor. Despite facing a complex medical journey, he overcame multiple close calls with remarkable resilience. On Monday afternoon, he was suddenly called home to Heaven.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Rd., Liberty MO 64068 on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 9:00 AM until Mass time. A luncheon will follow.
