I am very sorry for the family’s loss.  My sister Linda (Meyers) Steinmetz was a good friend of Darcy’s from grade school.  I remember a sweet dance with her at Darcy & Linda’s 8th grade graduation from Mullanphy in St.Louis.

Sean, Dave and I used to joke that you and Darcy were part of our kids...just a phone call away whenever you had a question about how to do something around the house or needed computer help. I'm so glad we all got to work together during the time we did; when we all were like a big loving family made of friends.

Darcy was and will forever be such a bright light to all of us.  I can't recall a single conversation with Darcy in which there wasn't laughter mixed in........no matter if we were talking about phones ringing off the hook, no time to answer, no time to get patients scheduled..... or talking about her cancer treatments.  Her love of life, her huge heart,  her compassion, her strength, her sense of humor touched so many people.....more than she could ever know.  Darcy was one of a kind.  Beautiful inside and out.......even without makeup, although that was a very RARE occurrence! !  She faced every challenge with a positive approach and dug deep to find the energy to push forward.  She is truly an inspiration to us all.  If I could choose one person that I would most want to be like........hands down it would be Darcy.   You are now cancer free and I can't wait to see you again some day my dear friend.  To Sean, Tyler, Brock and Bryce and the rest of your family.....I can only imagine the loss you must feel.  Darcy loved you all deeply.  Hold on to those precious memories and  laugh.....that would make her very happy to hear your laughter.

To the family of Darcy,
Darcy will be truly missed.  She was a shining light in the radiology department.   Her little giggle and smile will always be a loving memory for me.  Darcy was the go to person.    Darcy's 7 layer Mexican dip shall be retired forever, no duplicates.   Miss you Darcy... Darcy & Sean you raised beautiful sons - Bryce & Tyler.  Just know the legacy of memories will continue.
