David Eugene King Sr.

He was born to Frank and Alma King on February 22, 1945, the youngest of four brothers, and went on to live a life full of meaning, loyalty and care.

David married Carolyn Sue Coble on June 28, 1968, and together they built a family filled with love and memories. He was the proud father of two sons Davy (CJ) and Steve (Andi) and his legacy continues through his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Davids work with the Post Office spanned 43 years, and he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of his career, he was a passionate sports fan, especially fond of cheering for his hometown Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. His love for sports and his family were cornerstones of his life.

David is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Carolyn, and his three brothers, Jim, Paul and John.

His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

Services for David will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, Missouri, 64119, visitation will begin at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM.
