David R. Meyer, 88, of Kansas City, MO passed away September 4, 2016. David worked 50 years for TWA as a technical writer. He was also an avid gardener. David is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie, of 52 years. He is survived by his brother, Robert (Betty) Meyer; daughter, Carol (Mark) Pollard; son, Paul (Tammy) Meyer; grandchildren, Travis Pollard (Lauren Bruce), April (Chris) Marino, Jeffrey (Eryn) Pollard, Bailey Meyer and Riley (Brooklynn) Meyer; and great grandson, Elliot Marino. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 7th, 6:00-8:00 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 8th, 1:00 pm at Gashland Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to NorthCare Hospice.
