She was born to Clarence Harland McNamee Sr. and Ellen Mosley McNamee on March 27, 1927 in Fulton, Missouri. Edie worked well over 40 years at Meritas Health Gashland Clinic and retired at the age of 81. She loved travel, was an avid reader and a Jeopardy enthusiast.
Edie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, June Wofford, Louise “Tommy” Yancey, Clarence Harland Jr, Roy McNamee, Hubert McNamee and Maxie Butler; and her husband, Milton Behrens.
Edie will be lovingly remembered by her sons Jeff (Joy) and David Behrens; grandchildren Tiara (Teddy) Dixon, Sarah (Dan) Speck; great-grandchildren Anna (Sidney) Milligan, Harrisen (Taylor) Bush, Joseph, Laura, Lisa, Teddi Dixon and Sam, Audey, Hollis Speck; and one great-great-grandchild Lincoln Milligan.
Burial will be held at Newcomer’s White Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
