He was born March 3, 1939 in Hereford, TX farming from a young age until he joined the military. Edward was honorably discharged from the Army division of the United States Armed forces serving in Germany from 1958 - 1961; worked for General Motors for more than 30 years at multiple plants including CA, MO, KS, OK, TX, and OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward James Sr and Mertie Kathleen; his wife Callie Virginia; sister Patricia; brothers Victor and Gary.
He is survived by his sisters Marilyn, Vivian and Barbara; his children: daughters Callie and Pamela; son Eddie and wife Shawna; Grandchildren: Peter, Michael, Douglas, Jean and James; Great GrandChildren: Ethel, Amita and Ezra.
Visitation will be from 6pm to 8 pm,Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, Mo. Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 29, 2020 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO
