

Esther was born in 1926 to George and Nathalie Magenheimer in Kansas City, KS and a graduate of Wyandotte High School in 1945. In November 1948, Esther married the love of her life, Mace Anderson of Braymer, MO. They had 5 children and were devoted to each other for 49 years, until Mace passed away in 1998.
Mace and Esther lived most of their married life in the KCMO northland area and were members of King of Kings Lutheran Church for more than 60 years. Esther retired from the NKC school district in 1992, where she had worked for 20+ years.
Esther is survived by her children, David (Sally) Anderson, Jim (Janet) Anderson, Elaine (John) Telge, and Karen (Luis) Carrion; her grandchildren, Andrea (Brent) Morris, Tony (Hillary) Anderson, Summer Anderson, Corey (Nicole) Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Ryan (Amanda) Anderson, Sarah Anderson, Eric Anderson, Kyle Oliver, Jacob (April) Oliver, Natalie (Chaz) Walgren, Luis A. (So Hyeon) Carrion, Karina Carrion; 11 great grandchildren, and brother, George Magenheimer.
Esther was preceded in death by her loving husband Mace, son Thomas, and sister Georgia Gress.
Esther will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the King of Kings Lutheran Church, 1701 NE 96th St, Kansas City, MO 64155 on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Committal Service at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO will be at 2:00 PM following a reception at church. Please share memories and condolences on the White Chapel Funeral Home website.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Esther's honor be made to the King of Kings Lutheran Church Organ Fund.
