Ive been a neighbor of Esther & Manual for 12+ years. Finest people I know and the best of neighbors and friends. They never failed to ask if there was anything they could do for me. I was lucky enough to be a recipient of Esthers famous Santa Claus cookies. It was obvious she put lots of time and love into making them. Esther also sent greeting cards to me for nearly every occaision. I still have them all, cherish them and will really miss getting them. When I lost my youngest Son Esther knew and understood my feelings and gave me some very kind words of faith and encouragement. The last lengthy conversation we had was on the phone. She knew I am going to move and she told me that Id been a good neighbor and friend and how much she would miss me. The sincerity of her sentiments actually made me cry a little. My best thoughts of Esther and Manual are of the obvious love they shared. I witnessed that a few summers ago when Esther had a lengthy hospital and rehab stay. Manual got up early 7 days a wk and spent the entire day with her. Im so impressed and happy that I know two people who shared that type of love and devotion. What a lucky family! Im lucky that I was able have Esther's frienship and know she cared enough for me to treat me like I was special. The truth is:Esther is the one who's special and she was a true blessing in my life. Rest well Esther and God Bless. Love, Chuck
