Esther was born March 26, 1938 to her parents, the late Gerald and Myrtle Whaley in Maryville, Missouri. In 1959 she married her husband, Manual and moved to Kansas City, Missouri and raised five children. In the 1960's Esther was a proof machine operator and manager for Commerce Bank of Kansas City, before leaving to become a full time homemaker. She was well known for her one-of-a-kind recipes, and how special she would make every holiday with her cards, decorating and gift-giving. She loved and lived for her family, especially her grandchildren.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, son Scott, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband, Manual of the home, daughter, Christina (Bert) Godding of Parkville, and sons, Ron (Patricia) of Gladstone, Gary of Pleasant Hill and Nathan (Amy) of Merriam, KS. 12 grandchildren, Bryanna, Shawn, Vincent, Colleen, Jackie, Josh, Luke, Mason, Quinn, Chloe, Shelby and Xavier. Also her brother John (Sylvia) Whaley and sister Dorothy Rich.
