Esther Mielke Stillman

Esther was a “domestic engineer” for twenty years declaring her “parental requirements and responsibilities to and for her sons Butch and Bob, outweighed a need or desire for a second income". She was employed by TG&Y, Ben Franklin and Hobby Lobby, Five & Dime stores only after completing the task of raising her boys working into her 70’s. She was a stern, but compassionate mother that didn’t wear her emotions on her sleeve often. As a firm believer in Jesus Christ, she is now absent from the body but present this day and forever with her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ernie Mielke and her husband of 53 years, Garnold C. Stillman Sr.

Esther is survived by her sisters Margie Metz and Helen Lindler; brother Herman; as well as her sons Garnold Jr. and Robert; granddaughters Chrissy and Holly Stillman; great grandson Rory; grandson Scott Stillman; and great grandchildren, Cole, Hannah, Jessie, and Jackson Robert Stillman, and Chris Stillman.

A visitation for Esther will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone MO, 64119.
