On June 4, 2014, Sonny Soligo peacefully left this world, and went to heaven to be with his Brother. Many a washing machine was worn out from the quantity of sand brought in from the well used backyard sandbox. As a young boy, he moved to Gladstone, Missouri, when it was still neighborhoods with young families, open fields and creeks. He was a fine Little Leauge pitcher, and his Brother Bob completed the duo as a catcher. He graduated from Oak Park High School and attended the University of Missouri, in Columbia. As a grown up, he was the exceedingly proud Father of Sarina Rachelle Soligo, and finally gave in to the callings of his heritage and became a devoted gardener and Plantsman.
