She became a full-time homemaker and stay at home mom when Todd was born in 1967. She enjoyed volunteering during Todd’s elementary school days and is remembered to this day for her frosted sugar cookies that she made for every room party. She volunteered in the school library, served as a room mother and helped with Todd’s Cub Scout troop. She enjoyed selling Avon in the neighborhood. She was involved in the University of MO extension club and volunteered at Englewood Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors and raised a beautiful garden every summer. She also loved tending to her flowers, fishing with her guys and enjoying the beautiful sunsets out her back window. She passed this love of all things outdoors onto Todd.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Croix Hospice, Adair County MO Humane Society, or the charity of your choice.
